|  It has been nearly a week that PTE Katok has opened its door to new students that are formerly from Maktab Duli. So far everything went well except for a few hiccups which lead to some students to transfer back to Maktab Duli due to the fact that their subjects aren’t fully ‘supported’ in the new institution.
From what I’ve heard, students who are taking computing as their subjects are forced to move back to Maktab Duli after transferred to PTE Katok since their computer lab only consisted of chairs and tables with absolutely no computer to start with. As far as I was told, students who are taking computing and English thinking skills are not transferred to the new PTE regardless they live in the catchment area for PTE Katok. As of today, 30th November, Maktab Duli will be starting it's year end holiday as with other schools in Brunei. There will a total of 36 days of holiday and Maktab Duli will reopen on Monday, 5th of January 2009. The team at Maktabduli.org would like to wish happy holiday to every student of Maktab Duli and hope you guys will have a great time! See you next year and hope it will be an excelent year! Maktab Duli Students Moving to Kg. Katok |

News just came in, most of the current Maktab Duli students who are in the affected area, which are mostly in Mukim Killanas, Mukim Pangakalan Batu,Kg. Bengkurong, Kuala Lurah and as near as Kg. Tungku will be moving to the new Kg. Katok school building on the 5th of January 2009. The exact details are still in the shadows but students who are living in the Bandar Seri Begawan area will be still staying at Maktab Duli.
