Today, about 725 new students intake were gathered at PTE Katok, introducing it's first intake in the newly establish PTE (Sixth form Centre). The event was held at PTE Katok and now they are doing their on going orientation with the place. This marks the first trend on how the orientation would take and would me taken as a tradition by fellow teachers and students.
Maktabduli.org would like to congratulate the new intake into PTE Katok and wish you all the best.

I was browsing my website statistics and found an external website linking to my website, and found out it was a student blogspot website which had a link linking to mine. Under the list of links or also known as blogrolls I found some interesting links and one of them is ICT Club blogspot website which is run by MD 08/09 batch!
I'm personally impressed by the fact the club that I've created back when I was in MD still is running active and thanks to my teacher, Ms. Fina to lead them and gave encouragement to actively involve in using existing technology such as blogging. Seems like the website is actively updated and the shoutbox of the website seems active also by the visitors.
I think I should make a blogroll myself here at Maktabduli.org and give credits to those who are active in all MD related stuff and heck, I myself once the first president of the club, ICT Club, I should support my juniors for their efforts.
Below is a screen shot of the website (along with my shout! :D) - here is the link to the website: http://www.ictclub0809.blogspot.com/

HECAS - a fast way to submit application form |
| HECAS or Higher Education Centralised Admission System, an online product collaboration by DST and Datastream Technologies to help students and the public to submit their application form for heigher education or scholarship application via online, all with a little fee to save the hassle of few trips of going to MOE to ask and actually send the form.
Actually, the website is currently closed and will be launced this Saturday, 7th February 2009 at www.hecas.edu.bn but using crafty ways.. I manage to find some basic information about the whole process. [Update] Well I need to change this article, since there is some changes to the pricing, so below is the list of cost when first applying: 1 programme = $ 5 2 programmes = $10 3 programmes = $15 4~6 programmes = $20 For additional programmes, here is the cost list: 1 programme = $ 5 2 programmes = $10 3 programmes = $15 4 programmes = $20 5 programmes = $25 This is also an important note: However, if for the first time the students have selected either 4-6 programmes for first time request there will be a maximum of $20 for 4,5 or 6 programmes. Also, these online service is done using sms. Thus deduction maybe done via your credit. To view the guideline, you can access the information directly here: Guideline More news to come as I dig more data. |
