Current development updates on MD Blog |

Hello again, I just want to update visitors of this website that currently Maktabduli.org is undergoing major upgrades and development. To keep you updated, I've used MD blog (which you can enter here www.maktabduli.org/wordpress or clicking directly MD Blog) to keep a web log of the current development of Maktabduli.org and updates. The update log is useful for those who want to know Maktabduli.org's development and want to help it's development by suggesting a comment or for those who want to learn how I shape Maktabduli.org to current state now. Any comments and suggestions are welcome! Also I would like to point out that.. Maktabduli.org's PhotoGallery is finally open for public registration. You can register by clicking Photo Gallery link above or by directly going here www.maktabduli.org/gallery2 You are free to upload pictures and upon registering, you are automatically given an album which you can put sub albums in it to suit your needs.

Well, I've successfully upgraded to a new system which is Joomla! 1.5 and most of the things that are new aren't quite visible only at the back end and the part for submitting articles, it uses a new interface than the old two pane design with a single pane design.
Well, I'm slowly testing the website and adding features. As you browse the website, you'll notice that I've a new Forum system. Previously I've used SMF and now I'm using a new phpBB3 forum system. If you want to be admin or mod, you can notify me via shoutbox or via the contact us above. I need help populating the forum section.
As in for logging in for previous user account I think it should be working, if its not, do notify me. I'll think of something how to make this work.

Well, if you are a user of the forum, I think you would by now.. the FORUM IS DOWN! Honestly I don't know what happened. Initially both this main website and the forum was down, then after some investigating and checking here and there, I found out there some stuff which made the forum didn't work but it didn't clarify WHY it was down.
So now, I take this event to rather than fixing this forum but change it to something new, all of this as few steps of upgrading and preparing Maktabuli.org to move to a better latest version. So the current forum, which uses SMF will have to go since at the first place it wasn't officially supported with Joomla! I'm thinking of using Fireboard since it's simple and provides better integration with Joomla! If you have other suggestion, do comment. Thanks! - Owh, btw sorry for the inconvenience.

I know, a lot of users from the forum are complaining that this forum or website is dead.. but here I say.. it is NOT! I never intended to abandon this project of mine ever since I started 2 years ago.
I think what this website is really lacking is up to date content. So far, the content thats been keeping this website 'alive' is from myself since I like to tell people new stuff and how to do them (so this explain why the tutorial and how-to section is growing).
If you want to add content to this website, such as news or anything, you can do so by clicking the 'Submit Article' or 'Submit News' when you login to this website. After that, wait for the moderator to approve your content. It's that simple!
Anyway, this June I'm planning to fix or probably if possible upgrade the system of this website. Its really been outdated as how the back end of this website.
Also I got a HUGE web space and bandwidth from my host, so if anyway wants to have website hosted or something you wanna do or make using a website.. just email me. You can contact me from the contact me on the left.
